Ibiza, a Mediterranean island located off the coast of Spain, enjoys an international reputation as the party capital of Europe. The beautiful beaches, plentiful sunshine and often riotous nightlife lure many travellers to choose the island as a March and April Spring Break location. Many Spring Break visitors enjoy a daily schedule consisting of noon wake-ups, sunbathing, late naps and all-night clubbing. Ibiza hotels offer something for every type of Spring Break traveller, with accommodation choices ranging from luxury resorts, all-inclusive packages or inexpensive beach hotels - perfect for party animals on a budget.

Nightlife
Much of Ibiza's nightlife focuses around activities in two towns: Ibiza Town, the island's capital located on the southern shore of the island, and San Antonio, a city on the west side. Holidaymakers who want to be close to the heart of the club scene might want to choose a hotel or resort located near these areas, but the ample nightlife offerings virtually guarantee there will be a club or disco near your hotel regardless of where you choose to stay.

Musical selections at the clubs range from hip-hop and rap to techno or rhythm and blues. Well-known clubs include Privilege, which describes itself as the 'world's biggest nightclub', Space, Pacha, Underground, DC10, Es Paradis and Amnesia. Many clubs stay open until 6, 7 or even 8 a.m., which allows holidaymakers to enjoy pre-parties that start after sunset, late night clubbing and 'disco sunrises'.

Beaches
One of the perks of vacationing in Ibiza is that you are never far away from one of the island's 80 beaches. The locale around Ibiza Town alone boasts seven different beach areas - including the well-known Playa d'en Bossa, the longest beach on the island. Here visitors will find numerous cafes and bars, including the Bora Bora Bar. For a more serene beach setting, head to Cala Jondal where you can still enjoy a wide range of bar and restaurant offerings in a more relaxed atmosphere. If you want to mingle with celebrities, visit Las Salinas in the south, an area allegedly frequented by Kate Moss, Jade Jagger and other stars.
